Connecting Telegram
Link your Telegram account to receive notifications, trading alerts, and reply to messages directly from Telegram.
How to Connect
- Go to Settings → Profile (or any alert settings page)
- Click "Connect Telegram"
- You'll be redirected to the StratBase.ai bot in Telegram
- Press Start (or send
/start) in the bot chat - A 6-digit verification code will be sent to your email
- Enter this code in the Telegram bot chat
- You'll see a confirmation message — your account is linked
Important: The verification code expires in 10 minutes. If it expires, start the process again.
What Happens After Connecting
Once linked, your Telegram chat_id is stored in your account. You can:
- Receive backtest completion notifications
- Get direct message previews and reply directly from TG
- Receive access request notifications with Approve/Reject buttons
- Set up trading alerts (Calendar, OI, Funding, REKT, Pump/Dump)
- Get affiliate program notifications
Checking Connection Status
Go to Settings → Profile — you'll see your Telegram status:
- Connected — green indicator with your Telegram username
- Not connected — "Connect Telegram" button
Disconnecting Telegram
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Click "Disconnect Telegram"
- A verification code is sent to your email
- Enter the code to confirm disconnection
This 2-step process protects against unauthorized unlinking.
FAQ
Q: Can I link multiple Telegram accounts? A: No, only one Telegram account per StratBase.ai account.
Q: I connected but don't receive messages? A: Make sure you haven't muted the bot in Telegram. Also check that notifications are enabled in Settings → Notifications.
Q: The verification code doesn't arrive? A: Check your spam folder. The code is sent to the email associated with your account, not to Telegram.
