Setting Up Calendar Alerts
Step 1: Connect Telegram
- Go to Calendar page and open alert settings
- Click Connect Telegram
- You'll receive a deep-link to the Calendar Alert Bot
- Open the link in Telegram and press Start
- The connection is confirmed automatically
Note: The deep-link token expires in 24 hours. Generate a new one if it expires.
Step 2: Configure Settings

Creating Alert Sets
Alert sets let you create different notification profiles. For example:
- "Major USD" — High impact, USD only, 15 min advance
- "All High Impact" — High impact, all currencies, 10 min advance
Each alert set can have its own combination of importance levels, currencies, and advance notice timing.

Test Notification
Use the Send Test button to verify your Telegram connection is working. Limited to 3 test notifications per hour.
Disconnecting
To stop receiving calendar alerts:
- Disable alerts: Toggle "Enabled" off (keeps connection, pauses notifications)
- Disconnect Telegram: Removes the bot connection entirely
FAQ
Q: Can I use the same Telegram account for multiple alert types? A: Yes — calendar alerts, OI alerts, funding alerts, etc. each use separate bots but can all connect to the same Telegram account.
Q: Why am I not receiving alerts? A: Check that (1) alerts are enabled, (2) Telegram is connected (green status), (3) you haven't muted the bot in Telegram.
Q: Can I change the advance notice time? A: Yes, from 5 to 30 minutes before the event. Go to alert settings and adjust the Timer field.
