Calculate average purchase price with multiple buys
The stock average calculator computes your weighted average purchase price across multiple buys. This is the price at which your total investment breaks even.
Average price = Total cost (including commissions) ÷ Total shares. Buying more shares at lower prices reduces your average — a strategy called averaging down.
PnL is calculated as the difference between current market value and total cost basis including all commissions.
