StratBase.ai has a gamification system with XP levels, achievement badges, and Researcher Badge tiers. Build your reputation as you create and share backtests.
XP Level System
Earn XP by unlocking badges. Your total XP determines your level:

Your level and XP progress bar are displayed on your dashboard and public profile.
Achievement Badges (7 total)

Maximum possible XP: 210 (all 7 badges = Master level).
Earned badges glow on your profile. Unearned badges appear dimmed with progress indicators showing how close you are.
Researcher Badge
A separate prestige track based on your overall platform impact:

All thresholds must be met simultaneously to unlock a level. Diamond is automatically awarded to the top 10% of Gold-level researchers.
The Researcher Badge appears next to your username throughout the platform — in the catalog, comments, and profiles.

Your public profile shows:
- XP level with progress bar to next level
- All 7 achievement badges (earned highlighted, unearned dimmed with progress)
- Researcher Badge tier
- Stats — total backtests, profitable %, followers, total likes received
- Recent backtests list
- Top backtests by engagement or ROI
How to Level Up Fast
- First Blood + Profitable (30 XP) — create one profitable backtest
- Optimizer (25 XP) — run an optimization on any backtest
- Multi-Market (35 XP) — test strategies across crypto futures, spot, and forex/stocks
- Veteran (30 XP) — reach 10 backtests
- Sharpshooter (40 XP) — focus on high win rate strategies
- Diamond Hands (50 XP) — build a streak of profitable tests
FAQ
Q: Do private backtests count toward badges? A: Yes — all backtests contribute regardless of visibility.
Q: Can I lose a badge once earned? A: Achievement badges are permanent. However, the Diamond Hands badge (streak) can be lost if your streak breaks — though the XP remains.
Q: How often is the Researcher Badge recalculated? A: Researcher levels are updated when your stats change (new backtest, new likes, etc.).
