Data Export & Account Deletion
StratBase.ai complies with GDPR data protection regulations. You can export all your data or permanently delete your account.
Exporting Your Data
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Scroll to "Data & Privacy"
- Click "Export My Data"
- A JSON file is generated containing:

The export includes all data associated with your account in a machine-readable JSON format.
Deleting Your Account
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be removed.
Deletion Process
- Go to Settings → Profile
- Scroll to "Danger Zone"
- Click "Delete Account"
- A verification code is sent to your email
- Enter the code to confirm deletion
- Your account is permanently deleted
What Gets Deleted
- Profile information and avatar
- All backtests and their results
- Comments and likes
- Direct messages
- Activity feed entries
- Subscription (cancelled, no refund for current period)
- Affiliate data and pending earnings
- Notification preferences
- Telegram connection
What Is NOT Deleted
- Comments on others' backtests are anonymized (shown as "Deleted User")
- Aggregate statistics (e.g., total platform backtests) are not affected
FAQ
Q: Can I undo account deletion? A: No. Once deleted, the account cannot be recovered. Export your data first if needed.
Q: What happens to my active subscription? A: It's cancelled immediately. The current billing period is not refunded.
Q: Will my referrals lose their tracking? A: Your referral link stops working. Existing referrals remain attributed but you can no longer earn from them.
Q: How long does data export take? A: The export is generated instantly and downloaded as a JSON file.
