Lost access to your account? Here's how to get back in.
Forgot Password
- Go to the Login page
- Click "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your email address
- A password reset link is sent to your email
- Click the link and set a new password
Note: The reset link expires in 1 hour. If expired, request a new one.
Account Locked ("This Wasn't Me")
If your account was locked via the emergency lock feature:
- This means someone (possibly you by accident) clicked the "This wasn't me" link in a password-change email
- Your account is fully locked — no logins, no API access
- Contact support at support@stratbase.ai
- Provide proof of ownership:
- Email address on the account
- Approximate registration date
- Username (if you remember)
- Support will verify your identity and unlock the account
Can't Access Email
If you no longer have access to your registered email:
- If Telegram is linked — contact support from your linked Telegram
- If OAuth was used — try logging in via Google or Telegram OAuth
- Last resort — contact support with as much identifying information as possible
OAuth Login Issues
Google OAuth
Problem: "Account not found" after Google login.
Solutions:
- Make sure you're using the same Google account you registered with
- Check if you originally registered with email/password, not OAuth
- If registered with email, use the email/password login flow
Telegram OAuth
Problem: Telegram login doesn't work.
Solutions:
- Ensure you're logged into Telegram in your browser
- Try clearing browser cookies and logging in again
- Check if your Telegram account is linked to a StratBase.ai account
Email Not Verified
If you registered but didn't verify your email:
- Check your inbox (and spam folder) for the verification email
- The verification link may have expired — try registering again with the same email
- Contact support if you're stuck

Prevention Tips
- Save your credentials — use a password manager
- Connect Telegram — provides an alternative verification channel
- Keep email updated — it's the primary recovery method
- Don't click "This wasn't me" accidentally — it locks your account immediately
